Mushrooms Morels and small things of the forest
I had pleasant other day out "mushroom hunting" with Michelle (my wife). I use quotes as I usually end up just walking around and finding other neat things in the forest. This time I found a small baby mouse, a different mushroom, a few itsy bitsy morels and some wild flower no bigger than an eraser head off of a pencil.
I used the macro setting on my digital camera (Canon Powershot a470), manual settings for exposure and made the collage with Picasa.
Picasa takes no time to make a collage of pictures. Get it use it I love it.

Early Spring Flowers
For those of you who just can't wait for spring flowers ... Here's a picture of what is growing on the south side of our house. Click on the image and see the full size view . Make it your wall paper. PS. The weather has been cold but getting warmer the flowers were growing in 25-35 degree weather a couple weeks ago. Amazing... simply amazing

A Bag of Nails
Once upon a time there was a little boy with a bad temper. His father gave him a bag of nails and told him that every time he lost his temper, he should hammer a nail in the fence. The first day the boy had driven 37 nails into the fence. But gradually, the number of daily nails dwindled down. He discovered it was easier to hold his temper than to drive those nails into the fence.
Finally the first day came when the boy didn’t lose his temper at all. He proudly told his father about it and the father suggested that the boy now pull out one nail for each day that he was able to hold his temper. The days passed and the young boy was finally able to tell his father that all the nails were gone. The father took his son by the hand and led him to the fence.
“You have done well, my son, but look at the holes in the fence. The fence will never be the same. When you say things in anger, they leave a scar just like this one. You can put a knife in a man and draw it out, it won’t matter how many times you say ‘I’m sorry’, the wound is still there.”
Fire Dragon

Always always be careful of what you ask for I used to say that all the time.
well it happened yet again... someone wanted a a dragon and lo and behold she came in with a force not to be reckoned with...All in all it was nice visit a little on the warmer side of things but no one was in the hot seat lol

Getting Rid of, selling, expiring domains
The network of websites / domains and traffic flow I own follows the pattern similar to the picture you see here... And to be truthful was fairly difficult to setup and continue operating as the network needed regular maintenance from checking stats to make sure sever load was staying balanced to traffic redirection while updates where flowing well and keeping up on the usability of the sites based on the visitors who came to the many sites....
Quite simply the formula was more complex than what is nessacary for understanding the math behind the picture...( Credit for the image goes to Knot polynomial identities and quantum group coincidences)
I decided to allow a few of my websites go to the way side of the internet crub. Most of these sites are decent domains that have at the minimum paid for thier existance (annual domain registration and hosting). The primary purpose for the decision has come from shifting my direction and focus ... on a smaller network of websites and giving them my best, rather than stretch servers resources and myself out.
The pain about letting some of these websites go is going through all of the domains I am keeping and updating the links to the sites I am removing ... it wouldn't be so bad but I am limiting my domain ownership down to about 20%. I must admit I truly dislike updating web-links in static lists... can we say TIME CONSUMING...
Somethings you just shouldn't do
Let the list begin with allow your 13 yr old daughter have a blindfold making up competition
During here 13th' birthday party/sleep over. The results can be scary.
Even Mia our dog was scared... Veronika in the middle taking the picture is as always happy to show the world just how interesting make-up and blindfolds can be ...
